The coal storage of Calaca Power Plant in Philippines is fabricated according to Chinese Standard with design life of 50 years. The coal storage is 115m ＆118m wide, 48.675m high with a 3m foundation height. The surface is plated epoxy zinc rich primer with Polyurethanes painted. The roofing use corrugated steel .
This coal storage is designed to own high efficiency to stand typhoon, rain, earthquake and salty air. The space frame structure make it more rigid than regular steel structure in the harsh environment which is surrounded by sea and have frequent typhoons and rains.
Calaca Power Plant plays an important role in relieving the shortage of power supply and promote the economic development in Philippines, which will also enhance the LF’s market influence in Southeast Asia.
