1.Installation Error Problem

Installation error refers to the difference between the installed position and the designed value of the steel structure. During the design of the steel structure, the position and method of rod installation are calculated by utilizing the knowledge of mechanics, etc. In the actual installation process, the steel structure may be under the influence of self-weight, installation precision and other loads, which makes the error between the installed steel structure and the pre-designed value. Once the installation error exceeds the permissible error value, it is necessary to comprehensively evaluate the degree of influence of the installation error on the safety of the steel structure of the space frame, and take corresponding measures to reduce the influence of the error.

2.Initial bending of rods

The initial bending of single steel structure rod is mainly caused by transportation collision or insufficient precision of production and processing. If there is an initial bending defect of single steel structure rods, the center axis of the rods will deviate from the predetermined value, and under the action of external force, it will be subjected to the bending stress generated from the compressive stress, which in turn affects the stable bearing capacity of the compression bar rods.

3.node defects

The nodes of space frame steel structure mainly include bolt ball and welding types, and the most common defect is welding defect. The most common defect is welding defect. Bolt ball node may exist redundant ball hole is not completely closed, rod sleeve loosening and indeed fastening screws and other defects.

4.support defects

As an important part of the space frame steel structure, the support is an important guarantee to ensure the stability of the structure, which can be divided into ordinary fixed hinge support and special function support and other types. However, ordinary hinge bearing, there may be weld defects and nut fastening is not in place and other defects; for some special function bearing, also need to combine with the corresponding requirements and regulations, the possible construction defects for investigation.
