Prefab Space Frame Structures Power Plant Dome Dry Coal Storage Shed Construction

Jiahuwan coal power plant in Lufeng, Guangdong. planned construction capacity is 8 × 1000MW coal-fired generating units. The first phase of the project is to build 2 × 1000MW coal-fired generating units, consists of 2 general contracting projects–coal storage shed with space frame structure and cladding structure, diameter is 120m, located in the south of the plant. 

The reinforced concrete coal retaining walls are in below the elevation of 20.00m of two dome coal storage shed, and the space structure is the bolt ball joint positively placed four-pyramid spherical space frame. Support elevation is 22.35m, height 47.5m (relative to the embedded parts elevation). Ventilation monitor Φ 28 m, height 3m, the lower chord of the space frame support Φ122.5m, bottom outer ring Φ 128.3m. The projected area of the space frame is 12928㎡, thickness is 2671mm.
