The modular construction approach enabled the rapid completion of a new 80,000 square feet (7,432.24 m²) central concourse on a challenging site at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).
Originally designed as a rugby stadium, this structure evolved during the planning process into a theater, uniquely integrating 31,000 square meters of office space into its architectural design. Strategically located in the city center, it is surrounded by streets on all sides and sits at the main axis between La Défense and Nanterre, offering a spectacular view of the surrounding skyscrapers.
Although this project has a special-shaped structure, the installation method is basically the same as other grid installations. The key processes of installation, the installation method, the installation partition and the installation direction are determined.
The roof space frame type of the university library is bolted ball joints and is placed in a square pyramid; the supporting form: multi-point support around the lower chord.
The canopy for the grandstand of the large stadium is crescent-shaped on the plane, 183.5m long, 39.6m wide at the widest point, with a maximum cantilever of 30.0m, fan-shaped laterally, and a sagittal height of 24m.
